sec A – tan A = m
so ( 1 – sin A ) = m cos A
so ( 1 – 
) = m cos A ( 1 + sin A)
so sec A + tan A = 1/m
Hence sec A + tan A – ( sec A – tan A ) = (1/m) – m
so 2 tan A = 
so tan A =
